The reptiles are the first true land dwellers to evolve among the vertebrate. The first reptiles had evolved from primitive amphibians by the late carboniferous. The class expanded during the Permian, replacing its amphibian predecessors during the Mesozoic era which is often called “the age of reptiles”. Among the extinct reptiles are the Dinosaurs which were the ruling vertebrates in the Mesozoic era.
Dinosaurs have long fascinated both young and old. Just what were those animals? When did they live? Why did they disappear from the earth shall be discussed in this write up.
